The Cook Islands Poker point system is calculated from the
1st January to 31st December each year. Each month there is
an official "Bracelet Game". Out of the 12 Bracelet
Games, 3 are "Main Events" which hold higher stakes
and therefore more points, money, and attract the fish, the
sharks, and the horny humpbacks (no mention of names). The
3 Main Events are the Winter, Aitutaki, and Xmas Main Events.
These Bracelet Games are the first games played on the night.
Points are allocated to the top 3 placings as follows:
The winner of each Bracelet Game gets the honour of taking
home the Cook Islands Poker Bracelet until the following Bracelet
Game.
